Working Smarter not Harder
Working more effectively does not require putting in a huge amount of time. Making a few small changes can make all of the difference. One of the first things to do is keep a status bar around to add to as tasks are in progress. This status bar can be a huge motivator for getting a task done.
Thinking outside the box is something that needs to happen at all times. Reading things that are opposite of the views that you currently hold can keep the brain juices flowing and even change your perspective. That can be a real motivator that keeps the world interesting and makes daily challenges fun again.
Finally, forcing yourself to get a particularly challenging project out of the way is a huge benefit. Most people have something that they keep putting off. If you can force yourself to devote time to it and only it for some time during the day, then it will become easier to get it done.

I love this infographic Paul! What would you suggest makes a good infographic? I have infographic services on my list to offer clients, but I’d be interested in what elements you think I should include. Cheers! Krishna x
Hi Krishna, from what I’ve seen the best infographics offer two main things… (1) factual information, and (2) a timeline of information – all packaged in a logical step by step format. I’m a member at http://myblogguest.com/ – they have an infographics section there; well worth taking a look at.
Great infographic – and it reminds me…..I do keep moving from one end of the table and then pile paper on top of my Cert of Training and Assessment tasks……….I think I need to print this out – I am usually good at prioritising…..so OK – just do it!!!!
Print it out… yes. I’m thinking a laminated copy up on the wall nice and close. I kinda need to read this myself a few times each week – for sure
