Of course there are many different types of products, but when it comes to economy of delivery e-products rule. Which means even if you deliver an “offline” product or service, you can still easily deliver bonuses via digital download.

But where do you get your ideas from?

Me? I’ll often find inspiration in an article that I read, or the contents page of an ebook or special report. I never look to “take” anther’s ideas, but rather to expand on them, express them in a more usable and digestible way. It’s easy to take 12 solid bullet points and turn them into a 30 minute PowerPoint sideshow video with an interactive narrative.

I’ll take the same slide-show and print out a PDF for note-taking and additional points. I’ll extract the audio file to add an MP3 download. The whole thing might take 3 – 4 hours in an afternoon to produce; but the end result is a high value add-on or stand-alone product.

Sometimes I’ll give them away, other times I’ll sell them.
