Today’s guest post comes from Daniel Adetunji, with some very practical ideas to help you improve your customer service. One of these ideas is to have a support desk (just as I do). It’s easy to do, easy to set up, and easy to run. You’ll find 3 “how-to” videos on my YouTube Channel.

What you need to retain and attract more prospective customers to your business—quality customer service.
The best way to grow your income and business is to provide quality customer service.
Do you have a support team,a contact form or ticketing software that allows people to ask questions about a problem or question they may have about your product or service?
As an entrepreneur, customer service is something you should not handle casually. It’s the backbone of your business.
I’ve been on the web for some time now and I’ve noticed that only a few internet business owners take this seriously. If you’ve not provided quality customer support to your business, you’d better start now ( I’ll be giving you some tips that will better aid your customer support service).
There are hundreds of software products and most of them work well ( I can recommend one for you, I use it for my business). Providing good customer service will help prevent lots of refunds and it’ll also make business smoother and easier for you.
Another way to answer your customer’s questions is by starting a forum.
A forum allows you to know the challenges of your customers, and it also lets you know the things you need to improve on. If you’re an affiliate marketer or an Ebay seller, customer service should be like your girlfriend (Lol) . If you want to establish a high profile and quality feedback score on Ebay, you need to take customer service seriously.
Let me tell you a secret you may not know. The secret of success of the best super affiliate marketers out there is quality customer service. I know of some guys ( top affiliate marketers) that provide quality customer service.
I sent an email to Jonathan Volk recently and he replied me within 24 hours. Do you know how i felt when I saw his reply within that time frame? Good of course. But after he replied,i suddenly noticed the bitterness in my spirit and thought that if this ”super affiliate” despite his busy schedule can reply to me within 24 hours, how much more me?
You should ask yourself this question also, so you can improve on your customer support better.
If you’re selling on eBay, you need to improve the value of your customer support service so you can grow and establish a good reputation there .If you want people to enjoy and benefit from your product, you also have to be there when they ask questions that may be bothering them.
In case you don’t have a help desk or forum , ensure that you make your email address available to your customers. This is very vital. The contact information should be on your blog and even on your business cards.
If you improve on your feedback rate, your customers will be even more happy to buy more product from you. If you’re wondering why you’ve not been making sales or your sales have dropped down, look back and measure your customer service support. Have you responded to the needs and questions of your customers? If you’ve not, please start today.
If you improve on your customer service, your customers will be happy to pay and refer to you their friends. If they’re displeased about you, they will tell their friends how bad it was doing business with you.
Create a solid relationship with your customers
We all want to be cared for, listened to, and attended to.
The best way to create a solid relationship with your customers is when you give them a feeling that they’re important and when you reply kindly to their questions
I offer a good support service to my clients and they refer their friends to me just because of that ( I’m a freelancer). I know for sure and I assure you that if you improve the quality of your customer service, you will have an even more successful business.
