I get your point about the “Spending” part. Underspending can really give a great deal of damage on your revenue stream. Yes, you may have acquired the cheapest tools to undergo a certain method, but is it really effective? No matter what service you’re looking for, make sure that you’ve read enough reviews before making a decision. It’s already been mentioned in the post, but you definitely have to have a flexible plan. Nice.

Hey Paul / Brian. Nice concise post on a subject that I think is close to every bloggers heart. Will I get the traffic spike if I follow some simple well-known blogging / SEO principles? The answer is YES, but as you say only if you keep going! It can get very frustrating writing great daily content basically for yourself! It takes time, patience, basic SEO knowledge and perseverance.

Great post – thanks. Getting traffic is simply the make or break of any business and is the holy grail of online marketing. I agree that so many people seem to shy away from Solo Ads but can be a great way to get those subscribers on your list. Too many people waste their time with PPC and SEO…. now don’t get me wrong they both can work, but more often than not, only lead to a lot of frustration for the newbie. The strategies you’ve laid out above I like to call ‘internet hustling’. Each is a great way to start networking with like-minded entrepreneurs. Over time these relationships can bring many opportunities to both parties. Thanks again for the great post.

Monte, one of the best ways is to ask “small” questions along the way that will help bring agreement by the customer that you (and they) are on the right track.

Some might say that this is ‘manipulation’; not not at all (unless what you’re writing is misleading). I like asking the customer questions that, if they answer in the positive, it lets *them* know that they ARE on the right track! Because if they are not – then I don’t want them to buy my product.
