20 Jun For God’s Sake… STOP Spending Money on Stuff You Don’t NEED!!
Sometimes I get so frustrated by the ‘so called’ hopes and dreams of others. Some people really have NO CLUE. The thing about business is, it’s about MAKING MONEY. The problem with so many people in “internet marketing” is they don’t treat what they are doing as a ‘business’, and so they don’t hold each dollar spent accountable.
The money you spend on marketing or training or product creation or WHATEVER is accountable… it must return unto you that which it is… and then some! Otherwise you’ll go broke.
Here’s a segment of a sad and sorry comment I picked up on Facebook the other day. I’ve seen this story hundreds of times over the last 10+ years. Sadly, even though this FB poster got some great ‘wish you all the best’ feedback, even some offers of free products – not one damn thing would have made any significant difference.
Simply truth… if this person doesn’t change the way they THINK about the money they spend, their situation won’t change.

I don’t post very often but I wanted to share an experience I had yesterday. I guess we all get spells when we find what we are doing here difficult, tiring and hard going.
The past few days have been like that for me. Yesterday I had a conversation with my husband about maybe giving it all up and changing direction. I was feeling that I’d hit a wall and couldn’t make it to a point beyond managing the debts I’ve accumulated after four years of doing my website very badly!
OMG! Four years and still losing money?! My best advice to someone in this situation is to cut their losses and get a job; not everyone is cut out for business sorry; fact of life.
Anyway, here’s what I posted in reply.

And (name) this next comment is not for you, but for ALL… come on people, you’re in business to make money *not* spend it. Look at your numbers and throw out your pipe dreams. Stop spending money spending money spending money on STUFF that you “hope” will work.
Most website owners these days spend more time looking for the ‘faster simpler way” than actually WORKING on the tried and tested PROVEN formula that WORKS… create a product that people want then sell it to them.
The thing is, it takes time and I know it can be difficult – but the reason it’s worked for thousands of years is because it WORKS. But at least you’re building a business foundation that has no choice but to grow if you’re running the numbers correctly.
