How To Get More Shares On Facebook

19 Mar How To Get More Shares On Facebook

Do you struggle like many of us do getting likes and getting shares and getting good positive engagement on your Facebook business page?

Well, you’re not alone. But here’s a quick tip that you can take hold of and take home to get the kind of results you’re looking for.

Now you probably already know the answer to this. There’s nothing new in what I’m about to share with you, and that is the simple fact that images are getting more engagement than just popping in a URL or putting in some kind of text or something about your web page or the things that we used to always do. It’s true isn’t it? You see them. Time and time again they come up.

The question is though:
What can we, as business owners, do on Facebook in image format to get the kind of positive engagement that we’re looking at?
Look, here’s my quick tip for you. I want you to take whatever you’ve normally been talking about and simply write it as a quote as an image. Then, of course, if you can get some good, feel good thing with that, a nice picture to go behind it, or one of those old time e-cards, something like that to engage people, then you’ll have a much more positive result.

Simply it comes down to this. I want you to think about what kind of good feelings can someone get when they’re involved or engaged with your business as a customer. So perhaps you sell camping gear. Okay. Think of a number of different quotes or pictures or images related with camping that could be funny, that could be talking about the things that go wrong, that could be talking about the great feelings of having an awesome time, whatever it might be.

Think about these things and then put that into picture format.

Now, in my business, I sell business to business website design, online marketing, digital strategy, SEO. Oh, yawn, boring stuff as far as these things go. But I know that my customers love to feel empowered. They want to be lifted up. They want to be able to push through the struggle and get the results that they’re looking for. So I don’t sell the hype. I don’t sell the bullshit that goes with all of that type of thing. But how about some nice, positive quotes and reflective sayings on good images that lift people up?

Every time I do this I get more and more people engaged. I get more likes. I’m starting to get more shares, and they’re starting to go viral, much like some of these videos.

But when it comes to Facebook, we’re talking images.

Now there’s nothing wrong with having a link back to your website in the image. But the point is this. Think about what makes your customers feel good, what makes them think, yes that’s me or absolutely, I want to tell this to my friends. They’re the types of things that you need to create and put them in image format. It’s a very quick tip. It’s very, very simple. But you have to put it into action to make it work.

Last thought, if you don’t have the skill to do this yourself or the time perhaps, get someone else to do it. You’ve got to find the images. Say, “Hey I like those images.” You go find the quotes or you go and find sayings, the things that you’re going to talk about and say, “Can you put these together for me?” Or perhaps if you don’t even have the time to do that, you’ve got the staff, they’ve got the time, get them to do it, someone you trust. But you must do it. Get these things out there and get engagements.

Okay. I’ll talk to you again soon. My name is Paul Barrs from PaulBarrs.com Internet Business Training. Bye-bye.
